Begin­ning Thurs­day, Sep­tem­ber 15th, @ 500 am, zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be sprayed. On Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 16th, we will be spray­ing zones 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. We will be watch­ing you so we dont spray you. Please be aware of our trucks. THANKS!!!

Due to overnight activ­ity, we are going to flip flop our spray zones. In the morn­ing, Thurs­day Sep­tem­ber 8th, we will spray zones 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. On Fri­day Sep­tem­ber 9th, we will spray zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Sorry for any incon­ve­nience. Please be aware of our trucks. Thanks!!

Due to the recent increase in mos­qui­toes, we will be spray­ing this week.  Spray time will begin each day at 500 am. On Wednes­day morn­ing, Sep­tem­ber 7th, we will be spray­ing zones 3, 9 and 10. Thurs­day morn­ing, Sep­tem­ber 8th, we will be spray­ing zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Fri­day morn­ing, Sep­tem­ber 9th, we will be spray­ing zones 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Please antic­i­pate us being in the green­ways between 800 am and 930 am. Please be on the look out for our trucks!! We will once again be spray­ing this week.

Begin­ning tomor­row, August 24, 2011, we will be spray­ing zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This will cover all areas from Sadler Road to the North end of the island. On Thurs­day, August 25, 2011, we will be spray­ing zones 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. This cov­ers areas from Sadler Road to the south end of the island. Please be aware of our trucks, they will begin spray­ing at 500 am.

On Thurs­day, August 18, 2011, we will be spray­ing zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 at 500 am. On Friday, August 19, 2011 we will be spray­ing zones 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 500 am. This will cover the entire island. We will be watch­ing out for any­one out and about. Please be alert and watch for our trucks.

MOSQUITO 101

I have been on a few ser­vice requests lately with my staff and I have asked this ques­tion to the home­owner. Do you know what a mos­quito lar­vae “wig­gler” looks like?? The answer is pre­dom­intly no! I feel like this is impor­tant to know because if we can “catch” mos­qui­toes in the lar­vae “wiggler” stage, we can pre­vent adult emer­gence. So, I am post­ing a pic­ture of MOSQUITO LARVAE or WIGGLERS as we call them.

 Lar­vae can form any where there is stand­ing water, flower pots, pools, old tarps, bird­baths, foun­tains, etc: We do have chem­i­cals we can treat water with and it can remain intact for birds, pets and other ani­mals to “help” them­selves too with no harm.
